'The Dreaming'

This is an old work of mine, way back 2001. this will give you a guage on how i painted 5 years ago with the materials that i've used.

Concept of this piece is based on the idea of "escaping". the way you try to wish for an alternate plane to what you have in the present, but you are totally bound to this reality for the simpliest reason, you still can feel what is surrounding you. so in a way you are torn in between. a bit melodramatic, but if you are 16, you tend to do it.


Materials: (Base texture; calsumine, glue, acrylic, acrylic emulsion) final details; acrylic, varnish; acrylic emulsion
